I'm a professional songwriter. I sit down with you and co-write your song. Line by line. While teaching you everything.

This is not a lesson. This is not feedback on a demo you already finished. We open your song together, we rewrite what isn't working, we build what isn't there yet, and by the time we're done you understand every single decision we made. Most songwriters don't even know this is an option.

"I've found a real sense of calm and confidence in my songwriting, and developed stronger habits through his coaching."

What We Do

What actually happens in a session.

Most feedback tells you what's wrong. This isn't feedback. We open your song together and I start hearing things immediately. Where the melody is fighting the lyric. Where the chorus isn't paying off what the verse set up. Where you're writing around the real emotion instead of toward it.

Then we fix it, together, in real time. You're not watching me work. We're both in it. Every decision gets made out loud so you understand not just what changed but why it had to change. By the time the session is over you have something finished and you know exactly how we got there.

That's what a professional co-write actually feels like. Most songwriters never get access to that room. This is that room.

Melody

Finding the melodic line that makes the lyric inevitable.

Lyric

Cutting to what the song actually needs to say.

Structure

Verses, choruses, bridges, built to serve the song, not a template.

Harmony

Chord choices that carry the emotional weight of the lyric.

Who This Is For

Serious writers. Ready to finish.

Songwriters who have been writing for years but keep hitting the same walls
Writers with real songs in progress, not people who who want to learn to write someday
Artists in soul, Americana, country, indie, folk, rock, melody-driven music with real lyric ambition
People ready to invest in their craft at the level it deserves
Writers who want to understand how professional songwriting actually works from the inside

This is not for everyone. If you're not actively writing songs, not ready to be challenged, or not in a position to make a real investment in your work, this isn't the right time. Come back when you are.

"I have been writing songs for almost 50 years on my own, but never wrote with anyone else before. I studied songwriting with a couple of other people, but always felt bad and invalidated afterwards. I definitely feel inspired to write more and to expand my abilities."

Leslie, Singer/Songwriter
The Investment

There is nothing else like this.

Go ahead and try to find someone who will do what I do. A professional songwriter with real credits who will sit down with you weekly, get inside your actual songs, co-write every line with you, and teach you everything while we do it. I'll wait.

Professional co-writes are not something you can just buy. You get invited into them when you're at a certain level. What you get here is that experience, every week, plus everything you need to understand why every decision gets made, plus a real relationship with someone who is invested in your growth as a writer.

This is not a course. There is no curriculum sitting on a shelf. Every session is built around your songs and where you are right now. That's why there are very limited spots and that's why this requires an application. I have to know you're serious before I give you that kind of access.

If you're ready, the next step is a short application. If we're a fit, we'll talk.

If you're serious, apply.

Very limited availability. New clients accepted on a rolling basis.
